1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards, at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.\u00a0 With 3 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 8 Oct 14, were approved.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith was not present to provide a report<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 The Finance Director Stu Martin discussed the following:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0\u00a0 Secretary\u2019s turn-in on 21 Oct 14:\u00a0 36 lb X $0.40\/lb = $14.40<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 Dinner and a Movie Raffle, Oct-Nov 14:\u00a0\u00a0 To date, 179 tickets ($895) have been reported sold.\u00a0 The President turned in 48 ticket stubs and $240.00 and Finance Director turned in 24 ticket stubs and $120.00 to the Secretary.\u00a0 The Secretary\u201ds 4-hour selling time at Harlan No Frills netted 7 tickets sold and $256.92 in public donations.\u00a0 The Secretary will send out an email to the other ticket sellers reminding them that all ticket stubs and money are needed by the drawing time set for 6 PM, Wed, 19 Dec 14, at Old Chicago in Papillion Shadow Lake.\u00a0 Stu will reserve a table for 12 Crew volunteers at Old Chicago.<\/p>\n
C. \u00a0Church of Nativity, Burke, VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 The weekend of 10-11 Jan 15 was confirmed for this offering by Bob Corsi, our VA POC.<\/p>\n
D.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon:\u00a0 Mar 15<\/p>\n
E.\u00a0 2015 CFC Distribution will be known in Mar 15.<\/p>\n
F. Offutt Catholic Chapel Designated Offering is set for Sun, 19 Apr 15.\u00a0 Mgsr Mark Rowan\u2018s new policy is that the local organizations receiving a designated offering will accept the check in front of the Catholic congregation.<\/p>\n
G.\u00a0 Other Ideas:\u00a0 The President\u2019s idea to use Welzoo.com which was not be discussed at the meeting.<\/p>\n
H.\u00a0 Stu reported 7% progress on the 2015 Fundraising Goal of $50,000.<\/p>\n
6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes were noted.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0\u00a0 The Secretary reported that the 3rd automatic deposit of $767.16 for the 2014 Distribution was received on 22 0ct 14.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org ):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 The Pancake Breakfast is set for Sun, 15 Feb 15, in the Capehart Chapel Annex with the Confirmation students.<\/p>\n
G. 2015 Deployment (work starts on 5 Jun 15):\u00a0 The Good Shepherd Chapel has selected the Scotty and Tabitha Corder Family of 435 Woods Road, Stearns, KY, as our 2015 Family.\u00a0 The family has two sons, Harley, 17 and Dustin, 4.\u00a0 Scotty works only part time as janitor at the Outdoor Venture Corporation (tent factory) due to a neck injury from a car accident.\u00a0 Three members of Good Shepherd Chapel Parish Council sent a letter endorsing the Corder Family.\u00a0 The Construction Director reminded those present of the Dec 14 deadline for replacing Mark and Ben White on the 2015 deployment with NE volunteers.<\/p>\n
7.\u00a0 New Business:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Offutt AFB Insurance Waiver:\u00a0 The President previously reported that the Crew\u2019s waiver of liability insurance for activities on Offutt AFB has been approved.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 Knights of Columbus Magazine article on the 2014 deployment has been published.\u00a0 A CA couple, who saw the article, donated $1,000 to the Crew.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 Update of Annual Letter to Donors:\u00a0 The Secretary will provide a draft of the letter at the next meeting.<\/p>\n
8.\u00a0 The Crew Meeting was adjourned at 7:26 PM.\u00a0 The next meeting is set for 7 PM, Wed, 10 Dec 14, at 9803 S. 21st Circle.<\/p>\n
