3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 12 Nov 14, were approved.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith provided that following status before the meeting:\u00a0 Great Western Checking Account:\u00a0 $7,602.98; Fidelity Money Market:\u00a0 $59, 206.51; Progress on 2015 Fundraising Goal:\u00a0 8.8%<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 The Finance Director Stu Martin discussed the following:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0\u00a0 Stu left off some cans.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 Dinner and a Movie Raffle, Oct-Nov 14:\u00a0\u00a0 A total of\u00a0 212 tickets ($1,060) were sold which makes the net revenue $820.04 (=$1,060 – 239.96).\u00a0 The drawing at 6 PM, Wed, 19 Dec 14, at Old Chicago in Papillion Shadow Lake had the following winners:\u00a0 1st:\u00a0\u00a0 $100\/$50 Vicki Edwards;\u00a0\u00a0 2nd:\u00a0 $75\/$25 Joann Klug; 3rd:\u00a0 $25\/$25 Debbe Moreau.\u00a0 Some lessons learned:\u00a0 (1)\u00a0 Certificates should be good national so out-of-town sales will be possible.\u00a0 (2)\u00a0 A new search for a restaurant that will provide free certificates will be undertaking.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 Church of Nativity, Burke, VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 The weekend of 10-11 Jan 15 was confirmed for this offering by Bob Corsi, our VA POC.<\/p>\n
D.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon:\u00a0 Sharon Strawn called before the meeting and indicated that lanes at Leopard Lanes have been reserved for 1:30 PM, Sat, 7 Mar 15.<\/p>\n
E.\u00a0 2015 CFC Distribution will be known in Mar 15.<\/p>\n
F. Offutt Catholic Chapel Designated Offering is set for Sun, 19 Apr 15.<\/p>\n
G.\u00a0 Other Ideas:\u00a0 By logging on to Welzoo.com, a 3 cent donation is realized each time.\u00a0 When a total of $20 is accumulated, a donation would be sent to the Crew.\u00a0 Currently, only the President and the Webmaster are logging into Welzoo and over $7.00 has been raised so far.\u00a0 The President encouraged others to use the Welzoo log in process.<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 The Good Shepherd Chapel Treasurer Kay Morrow and Secretary assisted Bob in getting mailing addresses for the last 15 homeowners so gift certificates could be sent by the Burke, VA Church of the Nativity.<\/p>\n
D.\u00a0 Crew Website (http:\/\/www.accrew.org):\u00a0 The Dinner and a Movie raffle winners were included on the website.<\/p>\n
E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 The Pancake Breakfast is set for Sun, 15 Feb 15, in the Capehart Chapel Annex with the Confirmation students.\u00a0\u00a0 We need to discuss the needed volunteers and logistics of this event further at the next meeting.<\/p>\n
G. 2015 Deployment (work starts on 5 Jun 15):\u00a0 The Construction Director mailed the proposed Corder Family floor plan on 2 Dec 14, for review and approval.\u00a0 Still looking for replacements on the 2015 volunteer list for Mark and Ben White.\u00a0 Harry Wallace, the Good Shepherd Chapel P.O.C., reports that the existing 5-year old septic tank system at the Corder site can be reused for the new home.\u00a0 The current Corder appliances over 20 years old; therefore, the Construction Director is anticipating that the Crew will need to purchase a complete line of appliances including the washer and dryer, stove and refrigerator from Lowe\u2019s Somerset, as well as, bringing down an over-the-stove microwave from NE.<\/p>\n
H.\u00a0 Columbia (K of C) Magazine Article of Nov 14:\u00a0 A copy of the article was made available for review of those present.<\/p>\n
I.\u00a0 Update of Annual Letter to Donors:\u00a0 The Secretary will provided a draft of the letter which was reviewed.\u00a0 A total of 75 copies will be printed at UPS.<\/p>\n
