Subject:\u00a0 Minutes of Board Meeting<\/span><\/p>\n 1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE. Only 2 of 5 directors were present, so a quorum of the Board did not exist. An informal meeting continued.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 2. \u00a0Attendance at the Meeting included:<\/span><\/p>\n Vicki Edwards<\/p>\n George Ziska, Jr.<\/p>\n Ron Strawn<\/p>\n Kathi Narlock<\/p>\n George Cawl<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 14 July 2015, will be reviewed at the next meeting when there is a quorum.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith was not present to provide a status.<\/span><\/p>\n 5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 With the Finance Director position vacant, the Secretary brought up the following items: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0\u00a0 One attendee brought cans.<\/p>\n B.\u00a0 Dinner and Movie Raffle, Oct-Nov 15:\u00a0 A discussion ensued and eliminating the movie from the prizes was considered.\u00a0 Ron Strawn volunteered to talk to the Pizza Ranch of Papillion, NE, about donating the three prizes similar to the total amount of recent years ($275 to $280).\u00a0 We need to finalize to this fundraiser at the next meeting so the raffle tickets can be printed and the sales can begin.<\/p>\n C.\u00a0 Church of the Nativity, Burke, VA Designated Offering, Jan 16:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n D.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon, Mar 16:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n E.\u00a0 Offutt Catholic Chapel Designated Offering, Apr 16:\u00a0 The Secretary sent an email requesting consideration for an offering to Pastoral Assistant Peggy Hoffman on 11 Aug 15.<\/p>\n F.\u00a0 2016 Financial Plan:\u00a0 The Secretary presented a possible plan but it falls short of our 2016 Fundraising Goal of $55,000, due, in part, to losing the two fundraisers of the Offutt Air Show and the Combined Federal Campaign.\u00a0 The possible Plan included:<\/p>\n (1)\u00a0 Dinner and a Movie Raffle:\u00a0 $1,000<\/p>\n (2)\u00a0 Church of the Nativity:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $42,000<\/p>\n (3)\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0$3,000<\/p>\n (4)\u00a0 Offutt Catholic Chapel:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 $2,000 Quarterly Bank Deposit of $1,269.56 for the 2015 Distribution was received on 31 Jul 15.\u00a0 The letter to past CFC donors was again reviewed and slightly modified.\u00a0 The Secretary will get the letters out to the 15 previous CFC donors before the end of Aug 15.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/span><\/p>\n D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> <\/span>):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 In an email on 11 Aug 15, to the Offutt Catholic Chapel Pastoral Assistant Peggy Hoffman, the Secretary requested the Crew again work with this year\u2019s Confirmation Class on providing a pancake breakfast in Feb 16, the Offutt Catholic Chapel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 G.\u00a0 2016 Deployment (works starts on Thurs 2 Jun 16):\u00a0\u00a0 The Construction Director determined that the retail cost of materials to install rain gutters was $350 (compared to a $450 contract cost), in addition, there could be a possible conflict between the Siding Crew installing the vinyl utility finish trim before the gutter apron on the roof edge which could hold up the Roofing Crew.\u00a0 The Construction Director suggested and Harry Wallace, the Good Shepherd Chapel P.O.C. concurred, that we keep things the same, as in previous years, where the Type \u201cD\u201d roof edge is installed all around the roof and a contractor comes later to install the rain gutters.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 H.\u00a0 Insurance Waiver to Offutt AFB:\u00a0 Request was submitted on 25 Feb 15, but still no word has still been received back.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I.\u00a0 Finance Director Vacancy:\u00a0 No volunteer has stepped forward yet.\u00a0 The Secretary again emphasized the importance of filling this
