  1. The Meeting was opened by Vice-President Marcel Moreau at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE. With 4 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. The minutes of the meeting held on 11 August 2016, were approved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Treasurer\u2019s Report: Treasurer Janelle Smith provided the following status, as of 31 Jul 16:\u00a0 Great Western Checking Account:\u00a0 $41,689.74;\u00a0 Fidelity Money Market Account:\u00a0 $24,222.58.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Finance Director\u2019s Report: The following items were discussed:\n
              \n
            1. Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/li>\n
            2. Offutt Air Show, Sat, 30 Jul 16:\u00a0 The Secretary picked up the share check of $1,350 on 7 Sep 16, which is the 5th<\/sup>\u00a0 highest of amount of 17 Air Shows worked.\u00a0 The average amount received is $975.39 and highest amount received is $1,800.<\/li>\n
            3. Dinner Raffle(Oct-Nov 16):\u00a0 Ron indicated that the Papillion Pizza Ranch will again provide $300 in gift certificates.\u00a0 The Secretary requested Donna Vogt to print 300 raffle tickets on 31 Aug 16.<\/li>\n
            4. Church of the Nativity, Burke, VA Offering:\u00a0 To be scheduled for Jan 17.<\/li>\n
            5. Bowl-a-thon:\u00a0 To be scheduled in Mar 17.<\/li>\n
            6. Offutt Catholic Chapel Offering:\u00a0 On 15 Aug 16, the Secretary requested consideration by the Chapel (Peggy Hoffman) for a designated offering.<\/li>\n
            7. Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 Results to be known in Mar 17.<\/li>\n
            8. 2017 Financial Plan:\u00a0 With public donations and the Air Show revenue, the Crew now stands at 2.5 % of the 2017 Fundraising Goal of $75,000.<\/li>\n
            9. Other Ideas:\u00a0 None.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes made.<\/li>\n
                2. 2016 Combined Federal Campaign Indiana, Kentucky, Southwest Ohio Drive:\u00a0 Alisha Hillner of the CFC indicated that major changes for the 2017 application are coming and will be discussed further later in these minutes.<\/li>\n
                3. VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/li>\n
                4. Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> <\/u>):\u00a0 Kathi Narlock added the 2016 deployment photos to the website.<\/li>\n
                5. Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 Gary is still undecided about making the 2017 Deployment due to his health.\u00a0 Corey will be coming and previous volunteers Jim Magill and Beth Collins are considering coming.<\/li>\n
                6. Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 In the upcoming month, the Secretary will inquire whether the Offutt Catholic Chapel Confirmation Class is interested in helping with a Pancake Breakfast on Sun, 19 Feb 17.<\/li>\n
                7. 2017 Deployment (work starts on Thurs, 1 Jun 17): Harry has completed the Yancey house foundation and septic system.<\/li>\n
                8. Adopt-A-Road:\u00a0 Trash pick up on 25th<\/sup> Street was set for 9 AM, Sat, 17 Sep 16.\u00a0 An email inquiry after the meeting, indicated that 4 volunteers can make this event.<\/li>\n
                9. Audit of CY 2016 Accounting Books:\u00a0 A CPA has not been located yet for the audit of the accounting books which is needed for the 2017 CFC Application due our CY 16 income being over $100K.\u00a0 As mentioned above, the CFC will be issuing major changes on 1 Oct 16, which will affect the 2017 CFC application, including:\u00a0 (1) Assessing application, listing and distribution fees rather than taking overhead fees out of the donations.\u00a0 (2) Administrative zones will be reduced from 147 to 38 (although the Crew appears to be in similar zone).\u00a0 (3)\u00a0 With the Crew\u2019s CY16 annual income in the 100K to 250K range, only a less costly CPA review will be required rather than an audit.\u00a0 The Secretary recommended that we hold off contacting a CPA until the CFC changes are issued.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
