\nSubject: Minutes of Board Meeting<\/p>\n
1. The Meeting was opened by Vice-President Marcel Moreau at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE. With 3
\nof 4 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/p>\n
2. Attendance at the Meeting included:
\nMarcel Moreau
\nGeorge Ziska, Jr.
\nJanelle Smith
\nKathi Narlock
\nRon Strawn<\/p>\n
3. The minutes of the meetings held on 14 July, 11 August and 8 September 2015, were approved.<\/p>\n
4. Treasurer\u2019s Report: Treasurer Janelle Smith provided that following status to the Secretary: Great Western
\nChecking Account: $23,197.95; Fidelity Money Market: $44, 211.04; Progress on 2016 Fundraising Goal of $55,000 is
\nless than 1%.<\/p>\n
5. Finance Director\u2019s Report: With the Finance Director position vacate, the Secretary discussed the following:
\nA. Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s: No new developments.
\nB. Papillion Pizza Ranch Raffle: 195 of the 292 tickets received have been distributed. It was mentioned that
\nsellers need to complete the \u201cBy\u201d line on the ticket stubs and have all stubs turned in by the Drawing Date of 19 Nov 15.
\nThe Secretary will be selling tickets at the Harlan No Frills from 10 AM to 2 PM, on Sat, 24 Oct 15. The Secretary
\nsubmitted an article on the raffle to the Bellevue Leader Editor Ron Petak on 29 Sep 15. Ron will also forward the article
\nto the Papillion Times. A Bellevue Leader reporter indicated that the article was to be in the 14 Oct 15 edition. Ron
\nStrawn indicated that the Pizza Ranch Manager is Rob Hogg.
\nC. Church of Nativity, Burke, VA Designated Offering, Jan 16: No new developments.
\nD. Bowl-a-thon, Mar 16: No new developments.
\nE. Offutt Catholic Chapel Designated Offering: Peggy Hoffman, Pastoral Assistant, indicated that the Crew sill
\nhave a designated offering in Jan 16.
\nF. Other Ideas: None.<\/p>\n
6. Old Business:
\nA. Update of Membership Roster: No updates made.
\nB. Combined Federal Campaign: No donations have been received yet from past CFC donors.
\nC. VA Connection (Bob Corsi): No new developments.
\nD. Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org ): Kathi included info on the website about the Papillion Pizza Ranch
\nRaffle.
\nE. Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper): No new developments.
\nF. Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue: The Secretary is working to confirm the date of the pancake breakfast with
\nthe Confirmation students at Capehart Chapel with Peggy Hoffman, as being 14 Feb 16.
\nG. 2015 Deployment (work starts on 5 Jun 15): Harry Wallace, our Good Shepherd Chapel point-of-contact,
\nindicated that he is reviewed 5 home applicants and will have a final selection by Thanksgiving.
\nH. Insurance Waiver to Offutt AFB: This item will be deleted from the agenda until new developments occur.
\nI. Finance Director Vacancy: We are still looking for a volunteer for this Board position.
\nJ. Adopt-A-Road on 25th Street: We have 5 volunteers to pick up trash on Sat, 17 Oct 15, at 9 AM.<\/p>\n
7. New Business: None.<\/p>\n
8. The Crew Meeting was adjourned at 7:31 PM. The next meeting was set for 7 PM, Tues, 10 Nov 15, at 9803 S. 21st
\nCircle. However, the Secretary will try to find a better day with less conflicts for the attendees. Vice-President Marcel
\nMoreau suggested the 3rd Tues.<\/p>\n
