1. The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards at\u00a08:00 PM in the Capehart Chapel Upper Annex at Offutt AFB.\u00a0With 3 of the 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board\u00a0existed.<\/p>\n

B. Lincoln Airshow, Sun, 24 Sep 06:<\/p>\n
After the\u00a0Secretary sent an IRS Form W-9 to the Lincoln Chamber of\u00a0Commerce on 20 Oct 06, a check for $506.69 was received\u00a0on 25 Oct 06.<\/p>\n
C. Thanksgiving Bake Sale, Sat-Sun, 18-19 Nov 06,\u00a0Both Chapels:<\/p>\n
Those present were reminded of this event. \u00a0President Vicki Edwards reported actions by the 11 AM\u00a0Catholic Choir, the Chapel sponsor, and was encouraged to\u00a0get Choir members to work the tables.<\/p>\n
D. Pancake Breakfast, Sun, 21 Jan 07, Both Chapels:<\/p>\n
Those present were reminded of this event. Note that\u00a0Jim and Sarah Collison are the new Protestant Youth Group\u00a0directors and were committed to sponsor this event by the\u00a0previous youth director.<\/p>\n
F. Super Bowl Subs, Sun, 4 Feb 07, Capehart Chapel:<\/p>\n
Those present were reminded of this event. Cursillo is\u00a0the Chapel sponsor.<\/p>\n
G. New Wing Chaplain Policy on Chapel Fundraising:<\/p>\n
A form for approving Chapel fundraisers has been modified\u00a0<\/span>to require only in-house Chapel approval rather than the\u00a0Wing Commander approval. To date, the four Catholic\u00a0Chapel sponsors have submitted the approval form to the\u00a0Chapel. The Secretary has contacted with the former and\u00a0current PYOC directors to get their form submitted for\u00a0the pancake breakfast on 21 Jan 07.<\/p>\n J. Other Ideas: None.<\/p>\n 5. Old Business:<\/p>\n A. Update of Membership Roster: The Secretary\u00a0passed around the roster for updating.<\/p>\n B. Combined Federal Campaign: A check for $489.39\u00a0was received from the United Way of the National Capitol\u00a0Area on 16 Oct 06. A 2006 CFC distribution check for\u00a0$230.19 was received on 21 Oct 06.<\/p>\n C. VA Connection (Bob Corsi): Bob is recruiting\u00a0volunteers for the building and finish crews. Bob is\u00a0concerned about the large reserves and suggested that we\u00a0set up a year round building repair fund at the Good<\/p>\n Shepherd Mission. Board members did not like the idea of\u00a0the repair fund and will not pursue. Bob indicated that\u00a0annual collection for the Crew at Nativity Catholic\u00a0Church in Burke, VA will take place in Jan 07.<\/p>\n D. 2006 Deployment, 2-15 Jun 06: Sister Nancy\u00a0Sutton of the Good Shepherd Mission reported that\u00a0$23,221.36 of the $27,000 provided for the Perry home was\u00a0spent so the balance of $3,778..64 will be applied to<\/p>\n other projects, possibly the George Renfro addition\u00a0project of 2004. $1,960.59 of the $2,000 gift money was\u00a0spent on flooring, a washer\/dryer, paint, carpeting and\u00a0incidentals.<\/p>\n E. Crew WebSite ( http:\/\/www.middypuppy.com\/acc ):\u00a0The Secretary will forwarded by email the approved\u00a0minutes of the 11 Oct meeting to Webmaster Sarah Edwards.<\/p>\n F. Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper): No new\u00a0developments.<\/p>\n G. Account Signature Cards: The Treasurer was\u00a0not present to verify that the signing authority on the\u00a0money market account has been updated.<\/p>\n H. 2007 Deployment, 7-20 Jun 07: The Construction\u00a0Director passed around the Crew list. Vice-President Ken\u00a0Zeiger was provided a check for $2,888.64 to cover the\u00a0cost of the deployment trailer.<\/p>\n I. 2007 Offutt Chapel Designated Offering: The\u00a0Secretary indicated that Catholic designated offering\u00a0for the Crew will be held on 10-11 Feb 07 and will be a\u00a0split second collection. The Secretary requested\u00a0Protestant Parish Coordinator Jodi Eagle to provide the\u00a0date of the 11 AM Protestant Service designated offering.<\/p>\n 6. New Business:<\/p>\n A. Fund Reserves Problem: The Secretary has\u00a0requested Sister Nancy Sutton of Good Shepherd Mission to\u00a0come up with a second project for next June deployment.<\/p>\n B. New Home for the ACC?: The Secretary reported\u00a0that at last Monday\u2019s Offutt Catholic Parish Council\u00a0meeting, Deacon Tom Frankfield will resign, effective 1\u00a0Jan 07, in order to force the issue of obtained a<\/p>\n civilian position for a priest. If this gamble does not\u00a0work, the Offutt Catholic Parish could go away along with\u00a0a major source for funding and volunteers. When the\u00a0Finance Director returns in Jan 07, the Board may want to\u00a0consider alternatives for the Crew being associated with\u00a0another church.<\/p>\n 7. The Crew Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.
