Minutes of Board Meeting  1.&nbsp; The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards, at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.&nbsp; With only 2 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did not exist.&nbsp; An informal meeting continued.&nbsp;   2.&nbsp; Attendance at the Meeting included: Vicki Edwards George Ziska, Jr. Ron Strawn Kris Woods  3.&nbsp; The minutes of the meeting held on 9 February 2011, were reviewed but approval will be delayed until a Board quorum exists at a meeting.  4.&nbsp; Treasurer\u2019s Report:&nbsp; Treasurer Janelle Smith provided the following report to the Secretary:&nbsp; Checking account:&nbsp; $10,259.97; Money Market:&nbsp; $43,435.22;&nbsp; Progress on 2011 $42,000 Fundraising Goal:&nbsp; 19.9%   5.&nbsp; Finance Director\u2019s Report:&nbsp; Finance Director Mark White discussed the following items:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A.&nbsp; Cans for 2X4\u2018s:&nbsp; Secretary turned in 30 lbs of cans on 14 Feb 11, at $0.50 per lb for a total of $15.00.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; B.&nbsp; Offutt Chapel Designated Offerings:&nbsp;&nbsp; The combined Catholic and Protestant offering was $5,887.05, which is more than the 2010 combined offering of $$5,270.50 but less than the 22-year average of $6,946.49.&nbsp; With the possibility of no offering next year, the question of replacing this revenue exists.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; C.&nbsp; Church of the Nativity, Burke VA Designated Offering:&nbsp; Bob Corsi reports, as of 9 Feb 11, that this offering is nearing $33,000.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; D.&nbsp; Bowl-a-thon (Mar 11):&nbsp; $100 has already been collected for this event.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; E.&nbsp; CFC\/United Way:&nbsp; The 2011 CFC distribution will be $4,870.74.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; F.&nbsp; Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation:&nbsp; More information is needed to evaluate this foundation as a possible funds source.&nbsp; Near the end of the information we now have, a statement indicating that \u201cunsolicited proposals\u2026.may not be returned or acknowledged.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp; This statement needs to be further clarified.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; G.&nbsp; Offutt Open House, Sat, 27 Aug 11:&nbsp; The Crew has requested to participate in this event.&nbsp; Ten volunteers are required for one share of the profits.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; H.&nbsp; Other Ideas:&nbsp; None.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;   6.&nbsp; Old Business: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A.&nbsp; Update of Membership Roster:&nbsp; No changes were noted. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; B.&nbsp; Combined Federal Campaign:&nbsp;&nbsp; After receiving the 11th and final 2010 CFC distribution check, the total amount was $6,241.48, which is $497.51, less than the original amount of $6,738.99, due to shrinkage.&nbsp; The 2011 CFC distribution will be $4,870.74, compared to the 16-year average of $3,142.90.&nbsp; The Secretary sent out 7 acknowledgement letters to the 2011 CFC donors.&nbsp; Per CFC accrual accounting procedures, the entire 2011 distribution amount must be added to the Crew assets which will make the above fundraising progress exceed 30%.&nbsp;   &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; C.&nbsp; VA Connection (Bob Corsi):&nbsp; No new developments. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; D.&nbsp; Crew Website ( <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accrew.org\" title=\"http:\/\/www.accrew.org\">http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> ):&nbsp;&nbsp; No new developments.   &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; E.&nbsp; Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):&nbsp; No new developments.   &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; F.&nbsp; Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:&nbsp; No new developments.   &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; G.&nbsp; 2011 Deployment (2-15 Jun 11):&nbsp; A letter from Tabatha&nbsp; Ridner and photos of the family\u2019s poor double wide trailer and the new home site were shown.&nbsp; Currently, the onsite Crew includes 30 volunteers with 3 on the Food Crew, 22 on the Building Crew and 5 on the Finish Crew.&nbsp; Sister Nancy reports that she has a bid of $3,300 for the new septic tank system.&nbsp; The Construction Director encouraged President Vicki Edwards to begin looking for the microwave.&nbsp; Due to the lack of home appliances, the Crew may be involved in adding some of these items to the gift list. &nbsp;&nbsp;  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; H.&nbsp; Donor List:&nbsp; The list was reviewed for errors and omissions.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I.&nbsp; Order Hats:&nbsp; The Secretary has received the order of 24 hats from Rapid Graphics and Signs for a total of $253.46 ($9.87 per hat plus tax).&nbsp; The supplier also provided to 2 free hats for 2 defective hats from the last order.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; J.&nbsp; IRS Forms:&nbsp; The Secretary has provided the Treasurer with the 990 forms for the CFC application and the 990EZ forms for the IRS. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; 7.&nbsp; New Business:&nbsp;  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A.&nbsp; Shirt Inventory:&nbsp; The Secretary reported that the current inventory has 15 shirts (5 XL and 10 L) and no shirts will be needed this year.  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; B.&nbsp; Adopt-A-Road:&nbsp; The clean-up of 25th Street was set for 9 AM, Sat, 16 Apr 11. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
