Subject:\u00a0 Minutes of Board Meeting<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards, at 7:12 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.\u00a0 With 4 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Attendance at the Meeting included:<\/p>\n

Stu Martin<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 8 August 2012, were approved.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith was not present to provide the financial status.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Finance Director Mark White discussed the following items:<\/p>\n

A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0 One attendee brought cans.\u00a0 Secretary is still waiting for the price to increase from $0.35 per lb..<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 Offutt Open House, Sun, 26 Aug 12:\u00a0 Eleven (11) volunteers worked the Open House.\u00a0 The Secretary picked up and deposited a share check for $950.00 ($860.00 in 2011 with an average of $890.05 for 15 events).\u00a0 This share amount is very good, considering that there was no major jet group and that the event was reduced to one day due to rain on Saturday.\u00a0 Pierre Flatowicz, the Open House Coordinator, indicated that to get credit for extra volunteers, they must wait at HR Central until 9 AM, for possible assignments.\u00a0\u00a0 Pierre also indicated that the rained out crews on Saturday, did not receive a share of the profits.<\/p>\n

C.\u00a0 Outback Raffle:\u00a0 The raffle ticket donation will again be $5.00.\u00a0 Outback will provide ten (10) $25 certificates to allow for prizes of:\u00a0 $125, $75 and $50.\u00a0 The Secretary will arrange for a sales day at No Frills supermarket on Harlan Drive and submit an article with photo to the Bellevue Leader.\u00a0 The drawing was set for 6 PM, Wed, 28 Nov 12, at the Outback Steakhouse, with a Crew dinner to follow.\u00a0 Mark will get the ticket info to Donna Vogt, so tickets will be available at our next meeting.<\/p>\n

D.\u00a0 VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 To be held in Jan 13.<\/p>\n

E.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon:\u00a0 To be held on Mar 13.<\/p>\n

F.\u00a0 CFC\/United Way:\u00a0 2013 CFC Distribution will be known in Mar 13.<\/p>\n

G.\u00a0 Other Ideas:\u00a0 None.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/p>\n

A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes noted.<\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 Vice President Marcel Moreau, the Secretary and Stu Martin volunteered to attend the CFC Kickoff Breakfast at 7:30 AM on Tues, 18 Sep 12, at the Lied Activity Center.<\/p>\n

C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n

D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> <\/span>):\u00a0\u00a0 Webmaster Kathi Narlock indicated that the website will be under construction for the next few weeks, in order to install a new program recommended by Consultant Sarah Edwards.<\/p>\n

E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n

F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 The Secretary indicated to Peggy Hoffman, the Offutt Catholic Pastoral Assistant, the Crew\u2019s desire to meet with the new Catholic Chaplain when he arrives in Oct 12, in order to discuss our cause.\u00a0 Peggy suggested that the Crew have a pancake breakfast at the Capehart Chapel with the Confirmation students in the Feb\/Mar 13 timeframe.\u00a0 Peggy will be discussing this breakfast with the Confirmation students\u2019 parents on 12 Sep 12.\u00a0 The Crew will be able to hand out info on our cause at the breakfast.<\/p>\n

G.\u00a0 2013 Deployment:\u00a0 No new developments.\u00a0 Work will start on Friday, 7 Jun 13.<\/p>\n

H.\u00a0 Sarpy County Adopt-A-Road clean-up of 25th<\/sup> Street:\u00a0 Volunteers were requested for this activity set for Sat, 15 Sep 12, at 9 AM.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 New Business:\u00a0 None.<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0 The Crew Meeting was adjourned at 7:32 PM.\u00a0 The next meeting was set for 7 PM, Wed, 10 Oct 12, at 9803 S. 21st<\/sup> Circle.<\/p>\n
