1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards, at 7:17 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.\u00a0 With 3 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 9 January 2013, were approved.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith was not present to provide a status.<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Since Finance Director Mark White discussed the following items:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0 Turn-in on 12 Feb 13:\u00a0 52 lb X $0.40\/lb = $20.80.\u00a0 One member brought cans.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 Bob Corsi indicated that the offering is over $41,000, which is a record amount.\u00a0 Possible causes for the increased amount are having the family story before the offering and having a very compelling story in 2013.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon, 1PM, Sat, 9 Mar 13, Leopard Lanes:\u00a0 Since one bowler now has broken his arm, the list of bowlers has been reduced to 13.<\/p>\n
D.\u00a0 CFC\/United Way:\u00a0 2013 CFC Distribution will be known in Mar 13.<\/p>\n
E.\u00a0 St. James United Methodist Church Outreach:\u00a0 Ron Strawn received and deposited $150 from the church.\u00a0 The Secretary will send a thank you letter with a receipt.\u00a0 Ron indicated that after the 2013 home is built, a short presentation before the congregation is requested.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes noted.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 The Secretary completed the Annual Anti-Terrorism Measures Compliance Certificate on 7 Feb 13.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 Bob provided a list of 17 volunteers with 2 additional volunteers on the waiting list.\u00a0 The Construction Director has discussed with Bob that this number of volunteers is causing the total crew to exceed available beds at St. Joe\u2019s Inn and brings the number of volunteers onsite during the first week to 26 which causes safety and full employment concerns.\u00a0 The number of VA volunteers still needs to be resolved.<\/p>\n
