1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards, at 7:09 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.\u00a0 With 4 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 13 March 2013, were approved.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith provided the following status, as of 31 Mar 13:\u00a0 Checking Account:\u00a0 $48,414.74; Money Market Account:\u00a0 $37,198.09; Progress on $50,000 Fundraising Goal:\u00a0 76.8% + 30% (for the advanced payment) = 106.8%.\u00a0 The Construction Director requested that $10,000 be left in the checking account for deployment expenses.<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Finance Director Mark White was not present but the following items were discussed:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 The Church of the Nativity check for $41,844.21 was received on 23 Mar 13.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon, 1 PM, Sat, 9 Mar 13, Leopard Lanes:\u00a0\u00a0 A total of $2,400 in pledges was collected, which is the 2nd<\/sup> highest amount for this event.<\/p>\n D.\u00a0 CFC\/United Way:\u00a0 The 2013 CFC Distribution will be $4,700.50.<\/p>\n E.\u00a0 Offutt Air Show, Sat-Sun, 24-25 Aug 13:\u00a0 The Offutt 55th<\/sup> Wing cancelled this event on 3 Apr 13.<\/p>\n F.\u00a0 Bellevue Knights of Columbus:\u00a0 Vice- President Marcel Moreau brought a Knights of Columbus check for $500.00 and a thank you note for the President\u2019s and Secretary\u2019s signatures.<\/p>\n G.\u00a0 Baker\u2019s Gift Card:\u00a0 Vice-President Marcel Moreau has requested a $200 gift card for the Phillips Family to use at the Whitley City Kroger\u2019s supermarket.<\/p>\n H.\u00a0 Other Ideas:\u00a0 None.<\/p>\n 6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/p>\n A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes noted.<\/p>\n B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 The Treasurer reported that the CFC deposited the 4th<\/sup> Quarterly Automatic Bank Deposit of $1,184.41 for the 2012 Distribution on 29 Mar 13.\u00a0 A \u201cshrinkage\u201d of\u00a0 $723.22 was noted for the 2012 CFC Distribution.\u00a0 The Treasurer also reported that the CFC deposited the 1st Quarterly Automatic Bank Deposit of $14.26 for the 2013 Distribution on 1 Apr 13.\u00a0 The Secretary reported that the CFC has qualified the Crew for the 2013 Drive.<\/p>\n C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 Bob reported that Wally Mack of the Finish Crew has been injured in a fall and a replacement is being sought.<\/p>\n D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> <\/span>):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 The Secretary will meet with Father Brian Klingle, the new Offutt Catholic Chaplain, at 10:30 AM, Thurs, 11 Apr 13, to discuss the Crew\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n G.\u00a0 2013 Deployment:\u00a0 The Construction Director sent the Phillips\u2019 home plans, material lists and the subcontractor descriptions to Harry Wallace on 2 Apr 13.\u00a0 The work site is 16 miles from St. Joe\u2019s Inn and is a 27 minute trip.\u00a0 The on-site Crew List now has 29 volunteers (24 men and 5 women).\u00a0 The Construction Director indicated that Harry Wallace has agreed to locating the HWH in the crawl space and installing the central Heating and A\/C system, as installed in 2012.\u00a0 Harry Wallace reports that the septic system has been completed and that the footing excavation is being complicated by limestone and wet weather.\u00a0 The Construction Director will reserve two rooms at the Baymont Inn in Evansville, IN for the mid-point stopover.\u00a0 Head Cook Vicki Edwards requested $1,000 for deployment food purchases.\u00a0 Bob Corsi has indicated that a VA group is possibly interested in making a donation for appliances.\u00a0 Bob is also looking at purchasing beds in Whitley City for the Phillips Family.<\/p>\n H.\u00a0 Sarpy County Adopt-A-Road:\u00a0 Picking up trash on 25th<\/sup> Street is scheduled for 9 AM, Sat, 27 Apr 13.\u00a0 Four Crew members volunteered for this activity.<\/p>\n 7.\u00a0 New Business:<\/p>\n A.\u00a0 Donor List:\u00a0 The Secretary passed around the donor list for the
