1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards, at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.\u00a0 With 4 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Finance Director Mark White discussed the following:<\/p>\n
A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n
B.\u00a0 VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 The Church of the Nativity collection is tentatively set for Jan 14.<\/p>\n
C.\u00a0 CFC\/United Way:\u00a0 The 2013 CFC Distribution will be $4,700.50.<\/p>\n
D.\u00a0 8th<\/sup> Annual Outback Raffle (Oct-Nov 13):\u00a0 The ticket price will again be $5.00.\u00a0 After getting all the details, Donna Vogt will be asked to print tickets for distribution at the October meeting.\u00a0 Prizes will be:\u00a0 1st<\/sup>:\u00a0 $140; 2nd<\/sup>:\u00a0 $80; 3rd:\u00a0 $60.\u00a0 The Secretary will arrange for an article and photo in the Bellevue Leader and reserve a date at the Harlan Drive No Frills, from 10 AM to 2 PM, for selling tickets.\u00a0 The Drawing and Dinner date was set for Wednesday, 27 November 2013, at 6 PM.<\/p>\n E\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon:\u00a0 Set for Mar 14.<\/p>\n F.\u00a0 Offutt AFB Catholic Chapel Designated Offering:\u00a0 Date is not set yet.<\/p>\n G.\u00a0 FY14 Financial Plan:\u00a0 The Plan for raising $50,000 to build the 2014 house was approved by the Board.<\/p>\n H\u00a0 Other Ideas:\u00a0 None.<\/p>\n 6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/p>\n A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes noted.<\/p>\n B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 The 2nd<\/sup> 2013 automatic quarterly deposit of $1,645.29 (corrected by Treasurer on 16 Jul 13) was received on 23 Jul 13.\u00a0 The Secretary reviewed the Crew\u2019s listing in the 2013 CFC booklet.<\/p>\n C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 Bob indicated that the James Hardie Company of Peru, IL (West of Chicago) is willing to donate materials to our project.\u00a0 The Construction Director is following up with the company to get a list of available materials and delivery details.\u00a0 Bob also indicated that he will take into account the performance of volunteers from other areas, if the numbers are tight for VA volunteers on the onsite crew.\u00a0 The Construction Director has indicated that he does not agree with this approach for assigning volunteers to the onsite crew.<\/p>\n D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> <\/span>):\u00a0 The 2013 deployment photos still need to included on the website.\u00a0 President Vicki Edwards indicated that Website Consultant Sarah Edwards will be helping Webmaster Kathi Narlock transfer our website to a cost free site.<\/p>\n E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 Gary Piper will return for the 2014 Deployment, as the Siding Crew Leader.\u00a0 Gary and Art Rupinen are working on revised fascia design for 2014.<\/p>\n F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n G.\u00a0 2013 Deployment:\u00a0 The Construction Director provide a 2012\/2013 cost comparison.\u00a0 A cost increase was noted in 2013 for excavation since the 2012 homeowner paid for the septic system.\u00a0\u00a0 The Lumber King costs were up almost $1,900 due to current market prices.\u00a0 Carpool gas cost were down by over $700.\u00a0 Overall, an increase in cost of almost $1,900 was noted from 2012 to 2013.<\/p>\n H\u00a0 2014 Deployment (Wed, 4 Jun to Thurs, 19 Jun 14, including travel and work;
