Money Market Account:\u00a0 $50,199.74; Progress on $50,000 Fundraising Goal:\u00a0 7.9%.\u00a0 Note:\u00a0 $3,936.91 of the funds raised in FY 13 was not spent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Finance Director Mark White discussed the following: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0 VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 The Church of the Nativity collection is tentative set for Jan 14.<\/p>\n<p>C.\u00a0 CFC\/United Way:\u00a0 The 2013 CFC Distribution will be $4,700.50.<\/p>\n<p>D.\u00a0 Baker\u2019s Gift Card:\u00a0 Vice-President Marcel Moreau requested a $200 gift card for the Phillips Family to use at the Whitley City Kroger\u2019s supermarket.\u00a0 The Secretary indicated that no gift card was received.\u00a0 Vice-President Marcel Moreau indicated that the gift cards are normally for only $25; and therefore, it is probably not worth the effort to apply for gift card in the future.<\/p>\n<p>E.\u00a0 Outback Raffle:\u00a0 Set for Oct-Nov 13.<\/p>\n<p>F.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon:\u00a0 Set for Mar 14.<\/p>\n<p>G.\u00a0 FY14 Financial Plan:\u00a0 Based on the fundraising goal set later in this meeting, a plan will presented at the next meeting.<\/p>\n<p>H. \u00a0Other Ideas:\u00a0 None.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/p>\n<p>A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No changes noted.\u00a0 Board members were provided a copy of the roster.<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n<p>C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n<p>D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accrew.org\/\">http:\/\/www.accrew.org<\/a> <\/span>):\u00a0 Mark White will deliver the consolidated photo disc for the 2013 deployment to Webmaster Kathi Narlock.<\/p>\n<p>E.\u00a0 Colorado (CO) Connection (Gary Piper):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n<p>F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n<p>G.\u00a0 2013 Deployment:\u00a0 The final on-site Crew List had 27 volunteers (22 men and 5 women).\u00a0 Although requested several times, Harry Wallace has yet to provide the cost breakdown on the $43,000 paid to the Good Shepherd Outreach Fund for the Phillips Family home.\u00a0 The only comparison available is that $39,840 was paid in 2013 on the Taylor Family home.\u00a0 Although making the final payment by 30 Jun is important for accounting, the Treasurer suggested that we should consider delaying the final payment until the cost breakdown is received.\u00a0\u00a0 No changes were identified for the \u201cPersonal Items to Bring\u201d\u00a0 list.\u00a0 The Crew Carpool gas costs were $1,871.03 which is down by over $700 from 2012.\u00a0 Berthing cost at St\u2019 Joe\u2019s Inn for 23 one-week stays and 4 2-week stays was\u00a0 $1,860.\u00a0 Framing\/Roofing Crew Leader Bob Corsi suggested that we use styrene vents at the front and back wall lines since we are now using thicker R-38 ceiling insulation.\u00a0 The vents have been included on Bellevue list of materials for 2014.\u00a0 Other gifts to Phillips Family included:\u00a0 Interior Paint ($505.23); Over-the-Stove Microwave ($259.05); Materials from Bellevue ($669.00);\u00a0 Quillows from Donna Quinn;\u00a0 Home Furnishings from Burke, VA; Appliances:\u00a0 Range, Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer ($930.72 (Crew Cost) plus a $2,000 gift from a VA realtor);\u00a0 Furniture from a VA estate and beds purchased locally in Whitley City by VA.\u00a0 Lesson Learned included:\u00a0 Installing the formica ends on the countertops before securing and the Owner\u2019s method of installing the casing on the interior of interior doors to keep the frame square appears faster.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0 New Business:<\/p>\n<p>A.\u00a0 Private Organization Annual Review\/Revalidation (POAR\/R):\u00a0 This report is required to remain private organization on Offutt AFB, and was submitted on 28 May 13, by the Secretary with the following info:\u00a0 (1)\u00a0 Board of Directors with email addresses and phone numbers;
