Subject:\u00a0 Minutes of Board Meeting<\/span><\/p>\n 1.\u00a0 The Meeting was opened by Vice-President Marcel Moreau, at 7:10 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue, NE.\u00a0 With 3 of 5 directors present, a quorum of the Board did exist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 2.\u00a0 Attendance at the Meeting included:<\/span><\/p>\n Marcel Moreau<\/p>\n George Ziska, Jr.<\/p>\n Janelle Smith<\/p>\n Ron Strawn<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0 The minutes of the meeting held on 12 December 2012, were approved.<\/span><\/p>\n 4.\u00a0 Treasurer\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Treasurer Janelle Smith provided to the following status, as of 31 Dec 12:\u00a0 Checking Account:\u00a0 $4,169.20; Money Market Account:\u00a0 $50,196.87; Progress on $50,000 Fundraising Goal:\u00a0 8.7 %. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 5.\u00a0 Finance Director\u2019s Report:\u00a0 Since Finance Director Mark White was not present, the Secretary discussed the following items: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A.\u00a0 Cans for 2 X 4\u2019s:\u00a0 One member brought cans before the meeting.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0B.\u00a0 VA Designated Offering:\u00a0 Bob Corsi indicated the offering will be held on 11-12 Jan 13.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 C.\u00a0 Bowl-a-thon, 1PM, Sat, 9 Mar 13, Leopard Lanes:\u00a0 The Secretary gave a list of 14 bowlers to Ron Strawn, to be given to Sharon.\u00a0 The Secretary will complete the distribution of pledge sheets to the bowlers.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 D.\u00a0 CFC\/United Way:\u00a0 2013 CFC Distribution will be known in Mar 13.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 E.\u00a0 Other Ideas:\u00a0 Ron Strawn indicated that his church, St. James Methodist Church, will be registering groups for mission outreach projects on Sunday, 13 Jan 13 at 5 PM.\u00a0 Ron would like Mark to go with him to complete the registration form.\u00a0 The Secretary will email Mark about this possible fundraiser.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 6.\u00a0 Old Business:<\/span><\/p>\n A.\u00a0 Update of Membership Roster:\u00a0 No new developments.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 B.\u00a0 Combined Federal Campaign:\u00a0 The Secretary has received the 2013 CFC application which is due on 15 Mar 13.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 C.\u00a0 VA Connection (Bob Corsi):\u00a0 No new developments.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 D.\u00a0 Crew Website ( developments.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 F.\u00a0 Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue:\u00a0 Ron Strawn provided an updated supply list for the pancake breakfast on Sunday, 17 Feb 13.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 G.\u00a0 2013 Deployment:\u00a0 Harry Wallace, the Good Shepherd Chapel P.O.C., has not provided the orientation details for Phillips Family\u2019s home floor plan.\u00a0 We have 29 volunteers on the on-site crew list (24 men and 5 women).\u00a0 For the Berthing Plan, the 5 women would have to occupy a 6-bed room.\u00a0 Considering the Phillips Family\u2019s situation of being burned out of their home in Dec 2011, a large appliance buy is possible.\u00a0 Also the Construction Director has asked Harry to see if he can round up some furniture for the Phillips Family.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 H.\u00a0 Annual Report to Donors\/Material Buying Form:\u00a0 The Secretary got 100 copies of this report made at UPS for $13.55.<\/span><\/p>\n 7.\u00a0 New Business:<\/span><\/p>\n A.\u00a0 IRS Forms:\u00a0 The Secretary provided the Treasurer with IRS Form 990 for the 2013 CFC application.\u00a0 Also provided to the Treasurer were IRS Form 990 Schedule A and the list of major contributors.\u00a0 The IRS Form 990EZ, which is due on 15 May 13, is not available yet on the online.<\/p>\n 8.\u00a0 The Crew Meeting was
