Harry Wallace, the local Good Shepard Chapel Coordinator selected Donna Ridenour for our 2014 home.  She has two children.  James is 7 and Keristen is 5.  Donna works as a cook at the Eagle Community Center.  Donna lives with her mother, Gladys Head, in a 2-BR home in the winter and in an unheated trailer in summer.  The home will be built at 2950 Highway 896, Parkers Lake, KY, which is north of Highway 90.A

Construction was completed June 11 and the finishing crew stayed an extra week to drywall, tape, paint and finishing touches. Appliances were installed, furniture moved in.

The family began living in their new house on Wednesday, 18 June, and hopefully will be turning a house into a home.

Thank you to all the Crew and Volunteers in Whitley City for making this home a reality for the Ridenour Family.
