Subject: Minutes of Board Meeting

1. The Meeting was opened by President Vicki Edwards at 7:00 PM, at 9803 S. 21st Circle, Bellevue NE. With 5 of 5 directors present, a
quorum of the Board existed.

2. Attendance at the Meeting included:

3. The minutes of the meeting held on 9 September 2021, were approved.

4. Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer Janelle Smith reported the following status, as of30 September 2021: Great Western Checking
Account: $8,911.59; Fidelity Money Market: $56,284.78.

5. Finance Director’s Report: The following items were discussed:
A. Al Cans for 2 X 4’s: One volunteer brought cans between meetings. The Secretary plans a can tum-in after the October Adopt-A-
Road trash clean-up.

B. Dinner Raffle, Oct-Nov 21: Finance Director Ron Strawn got 30 certificates (20 purchased and 10 donated) from Pizza Ranch
Manager Samantha Oxley. Ron was reimbursed $249.19 for the 20 certificates he purchased. The Secretary previously purchased the
$50 Outback certificate. The Secretary distributed 20 additional raffle tickets, so the total ticket distribution is now at 140.
According to Ron, Samantha marked her calendar to attend the drawing on 18 Nov 21. The Secretary will send an article with
photos to the Papillion Pizza Ranch.

C. Church of Nativity, Burke, VA, Offering, Sat-Sun,1-2 Jan 22.

D. Offutt Catholic Chapel Designated Offering: Sat-Sun,12-13 Feb 22.

E. Bowl-a-thon: Scheduled for Mar 22.

F. 2022 Financial Plan: Progress on $80,000 goal is now over 0.1%.

G. New Ideas: None.

6. Old Business:
A. Update of Membership Roster: No changes noted.

B. VA Connection (Bob Corsi): No new developments.

C. Crew Website ( http://www.accrew.org ): No new developments.

D. Colorado (CO) Connection (Corey Cinabro): No new developments.

E. Volunteer Recruitment in Bellevue: No new developments.

6. Old Business (Cont.):
F. 2022 Deployment (Works starts on Thurs, 2 Jun 22): Kay Morrow reported that the existing septic system for the New Family home
is usable with a new connecting line required. The old house foundation was removed and the excavation for the concrete footings
was completed on 16 Sep 21. On 26 Sep 21, Kay reported that the New Family is expecting a baby in May 22, and after consulting with
President Vicki Edwards, the Construction Director directed Kay to proceed with the 3BR floor plan. Kay indicated that the New
Family is still fine with the 3BR floor plan. The Board unanimously approved continuing with the 3BR floor plan for the New Family
at the meeting. The concrete footings were completed on 28 Sep 21, and the block for the foundation was delivered to the site on
12 Oct 21. Final plans, material lists and subcontractor work descriptions for the New Family home were sent on 28 Sep 21 (and
confirmed received by Kay). Kay reported that the Good Shepherd Church of Cincinnati will complete the subfloor in mid-May 22.
Since Lumber King does not have a 5O-gal, low-boy hot water heater for the crawling space, the purchase of this appliance was added
to the plumbing subcontract.

G. Board Election: The next Board election will be held at the 9 Dec 21 meeting for 2-year terms, from l Jan 22 to 31 Dec 23.

H. Adopt-A-Road: Trash clean-up on 25th Street is still set for 9 AM, 23 Oct 2021, with Boys Scout Troop 305.

7. New Business:
A. COVID-19: As of28 Sep 21, almost the entire state of KY is the “Red Zone” (a daily incidence rate of25 cases per 100,000
people). KY’s overall incidence rate is at 62.2 and McCreary County’s incidence rate is at 142.6 or when applying the county’s
population (16,888), on average, 25 new COVID cases occur daily. The Construction Director will continue to monitor the COVID cases
in McCreary County, up to our June 2022 Deployment, in order to update the COVID-19 Plan.

B. COVID-19 Vaccination: St. Joe’s Inn Landlord Jim Barney concurs with the Crew’s policy in our COVID-19 Plan of encouraging
vaccination, but not requiring it.

8. The Crew Meeting was adjourned at 7:37 PM. The next Meeting is set for 7:00 PM, Thursday, 11 Nov 21, at 9803 S. 21st Circle.
